Review by hotel critic
During my recent business trip, I had the pleasure of staying at Sonneneck in the charming Züschen district of Winterberg. Nestled amidst picturesque mountains, the location was not only perfect for business but also ideal for my inner travelista, providing a serene escape with breathtaking views. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful buffet breakfast, showcasing homemade regional dishes that truly reflected the heart of German cuisine. The staff was incredibly warm and accommodating, effortlessly addressing all our needs, which added to the inviting atmosphere of the hotel. After meetings, I enjoyed unwinding on the terrace with a warm cup of coffee and a slice of their homemade cake while taking in the enchanting surroundings. I left Sonneneck feeling rejuvenated and eager to explore more of the local hiking trails. If you're seeking a blend of relaxation and professional charm, this hotel is a heartfelt recommendation from a traveling wellness enthusiast.
